The Cody Johnson Des Moines Concert last night 5/17/2024 was a great event! Drake Milligan got the crowd revved up with his unique voice and upbeat songs. Justin Moore kept the crowd heavily involved with his well know songs if Heaven was' so far away, The ones that didn't make it back home and you look like I need a drink. Than came Cody Johnson. Cody took us on a roller Coaster ride through the stories intertwined in his songs in true country fashion. He makes you visualize a video in your mind. with songs like Fenceposts, The Painter, Till You Can't, and my favorite, Dirt Cheap which hits very close to home. Cody is as authentic as they come a true American COUNTRY SINGER who speaks to his audience through his songs and heartfelt lyrics. Great entertainer and his band is very, very good. Great Show listen to with my daughters that used to swing right their!

My son and grandson took me to the concert. He could not have picked a better show. Loved the venue. the oprning acts and the Country Mudic of Cody. First concert I attended with my son in 40 years. Thanks for a great memory.

I had 3rd row center for Jeff Beck/ZZ Top on Tuesday night. I arrived over an hour before 730 showtime. Show started at 730 Jeff Beck till 830 ZzTop at 9pm till 1030. Waited for traffic to thin. Left venue 11:15 was on I65 by 11:30 & home by 12:45am. For a sold out concert the traffic could be a real challenge. The most beautiful amphitheaters I've been to. My first time and I will be back. I do not buy food or drink at the venue so the cost of that does not concern me.
